Our Arab Neighbor's Judicial System: Murder of Three Fellow Arabs An Arab mob of some 500 in Jenin, east of Hadera, murdered three Arabs today who were convicted in a PLO court of killing PLO police officer Osama Kamal. The three convicts told the judge that they had killed Kamal, because he had killed Arabs suspected of cooperating with Israel in the 1980's. The court sentenced them to death, but somebody shouted to a large crowd that was gathered outside the courthouse that the defendants had only been sentenced to 15 years in prison. Upon hearing the rumor of the lenient sentence, the mob charged the building. The three were hidden by police inside the courthouse bathroom but were found, severely beaten and shot by the mob. Then the mob dragged the men's bodies through the city streets and shot their guns in the air as an expression of joy.
